God is so good! My wife and I have wanted to live in Florida most of our married life. With our two sons, this state has provided our family some of the most precious and memorable times together. Cathy and I can hardly believe we are living here in wonderful Jacksonville! Our two sons are now grown. Ryan, my oldest son, is married to Megan; together they have given us two wonderful grandchildren, Kennedy and Farrell. He is a commercial electrician. My youngest son, Neal, was married to Amy last October and they are expecting their first child this coming November. They both serve in the United States Marine Corps.
We lived in Kansas City for the last 20 years, where God blessed us with the opportunity to serve with Dr. Jeff Adams and the Kansas City Baptist Temple church family. But now, we are extremely excited about our new church family here at East Pointe Church and the potential to work on developing and providing tools that will help promote spiritual growth in the lives of those who want to follow Christ. Cathy and I have committed our lives to the MISSION of making disciples of Jesus Christ at home and around the world. God has been gracious to allow me the opportunity to train and equip men and women for the ministry of the Word to the world. Very few things in the Christian life are as satisfying like giving pastors, missionaries and leaders the tools that can give them success in ministering the love of God to others. The MISSION is central to church growth and personal fulfillment as a follower of Jesus.
I am looking forward to meeting all those who enter the doors of our church family. East Pointe is a wonderful family. We hope you will visit.
