Grace & Peace

Paul begins his letters with grace and peace to you and ends them with grace and peace be with you. He realizes that after his letter is read and put away that the Spirit of God continues to live in our hearts. His desire is that we all live in grace and peace and speak it to all of those around us.

The Ying and the Yang pt2

6Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.
7Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. 9And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. 10Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Spiritual Living

The Spirit led life takes place in a context of a community of grace. There are problems that arise inside this community. We cannot defeat he works of the flesh with more works of the flesh. So Paul urges us to help each other return to the life that is in line with Spirit whenever a believer is caught and trapped in a transgression

Coming Full Circle

Circumcision . . . it certainly isn’t the hot topic of the average church pulpit. But, such was not the case in Paul’s day. This issue was at the center of most arguments between Jews and Gentiles during Paul’s gospel ministry. The Greeks looked upon circumcision with disdain and contempt. The Jews looked upon it as a badge of honor and blessing. Jesus Christ nullified both sides of the debate and made it clear that neither camp was right. Only the circumcision of the heart done by the operation of the Holy Spirit was acceptable. Listen in on this interesting subject to gain a better understanding why men are angry at God and why believers often fail to walk in the freedom that only Christ can give.

The Scripture and the Gospel

Many have the idea that not all of the bible is believable or trustworthy. Some only believe parts of it or only accept only the parts about Jesus. Others only believe the parts that are not about Jesus. Today, Paul in Galatians leads us to the Scriptures and reveals that all of them can be trusted and all of them are about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Resurrection Reactions

The resurrection of Christ evokes many different reactions. The Gospels record the reactions of those closest to Jesus while He walked this earth. The Gospel of John tells us of how Mary and the Disciples and Thomas react and how Jesus leads them to believe. We will learn that "trusting is believing" and those that believe and have never seen Him are blessed.

Breathe

Breathe in deep and let your lungs get filled with the air of God’s presence and domain. It is available at all times and in all places. Mark McGaughey brings a message of hope to all who desire to breathe in the reality of the divine . . . the kingdom of God. Bringing the gospel back to center stage requires an understanding of the kingdom of God, for salvation is for the purpose of inverting our “kingdom” and turning us upright into His glorious kingdom that is divinely made available to us every day. Listen in as we visit A Divine Design, A Distant Domain and A Dynamic Deliverance in the Gospel of John 3:1-13.

Jesus is Enough

Intro. "Generation One or what many call the early church dealt with many adding to the Gospel of the Grace of God. They expereinced the same issue that we face today. That is the temptation to judge the genuiness of others based on our own preferences and cultures. Kevin will suggest that "Jesus is Enough" and that even our goodness will not stand outside HIs grace.

The Gospel Truth

"Martin Luther of the Reformation said, There is no middle ground between Christian righteousness and works righteousness. In this talk Paul is confronting a controversy in the church. He will firmly assert that if anything is added to the Gospel then we lose the Gospel altogether. Kevin deals with how the gospel is for both "good" and "bad" people and the power of the Gospel affects all of our life."

Paul's Angst

The Gospel of Christ is the Grace of God brought to man. So many begin with the Gospel and then begin to seek more or think that the Gospel only deals with going to heaven when you die. Paul writes the church at Galtia to correct the false teaching that grace is not enough. Man continues to battle over the question, Is Jesus enough? Paul makes it very clear that Jesus plus anything else equals nothing. Jesus plus nothing equals everything.

Prayer and Relationships

Paul has been teaching the importance of relationships on every level. Life revolves around relationships and many of our deepest hurts and disappointments come from relationships gone wrong. In this fourth chapter of Colossians we will see that prayer is the cement that keeps relationships strong.

The First Shall Be Last

The disciples were full questions about the Kingdom and what they would receive having given all to follow Jesus. Jesus in his wisdom challenged their thinking in human terms. God has been and will continue to be accused of being "unfair" when in reality He is generous to everyone in the purist way. Kevin, will break down the proverb "The first will be last and the last will be first" as Jesus tells a story that puts us all on equal ground.

There is something about Jesus that caused thousands of men and women and children to want to follow Him. Many crowded together to hear him speak and teach. Kevin will try and tackle the question as to why were so many attracted to Jesus? Why, for so many years after he left this earth does he still draw millions to a relationship with Himself? You will experience a refreshing perspective as you listen to this message.

Invest And Invite - Reaching Out

God has made it very clear that HIs mission here on earth is to seek and to save the lost. Kevin deals with this issue head on so the church will not lose its focus. It is easy to become sermon listeners and fail to search for those that are disconnected from God. The fact that God considers anyone "lost" sould not be offensive but reflects that they are valuable to Him. Listen to this message and be ready to join the serch team.
