Missions - Reach Out

Missions is a vital part of the work of God. We don’t view it as a separate ministry at East Pointe but the very heartbeat of the ministry. We are committed to challenging people to experience different cultures and countries so they can have a larger world-view in light of eternity.

We want a relationship with our missionary family that exceeds just sending them a financial gift each month…we want a personal relationship…one where we can exchange ideas, encourage their families and children and serve them any way possible. That takes time, resources and people who love and want to get involved in the lives of others…learning about other cultures and the blessing and difficulties that mission life presents. They need our prayers and encouragement -- we want to be a church that is known for this kind of BIG LOVE to our mission family.

Reaching out changes the world. Reaching outside of ourselves - going beyond our own wants - is how we change the world. We believe that God has given most of us in America more than enough for ourselves. It allows us to give generously to others in need.

We want more than enough love so we can give love to others.

We want more than enough money so we can provide for others' needs.

We want more than enough passion so we can do what it takes to reach people in Jacksonville and across the world!
